“The Tacoma Planning Commission is seeking a new member. The Planning Commission advises the City Council on matters regarding neighborhood planning and zoning, development regulations and other land uses. The Commission will fill the opening with a Tacoma resident who lives in Council District 4, an area that generally encompasses Tacoma’s East Side neighborhood. Citizens may obtain a map with boundary locations from the City Clerk’s office. The position’s term expires December 31, 2001. The Commission meets at 4:00 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market Street, Room 16.
