The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber announced this morning it will trim its staff to better match the reduced cash flow caused by the general economic downturn of the last two years. Interim President Mike Hansch said in a statement, “Although some local companies have not been affected by the downturn, most of our members have been affected. That has reduced the financial support we could normally count on. Unfortunately we have to reduce expenses to match today’s environment.”
