A Tacoma company was among the 16 companies named as recipients of The Association of Washington Business 2001 Better Workplace Awards.
These awards honor companies for innovations in workplace safety, job training and advancement program, and benefit and compensation programs.
Tacomas Labor Ready received a Certificate of Merit for its Job Training & Advancement Programs
The Association of Washington Business (AWB) is Washingtons oldest and largest statewide business association and is Washingtons State Chamber of Commerce.
Its 3,700 members employ more than 600,000 workers in Washington. Included in its members are 80 chambers of commerce and over 125 trade and professional associations
