Tacoma City Council is scheduled to meet Tuesday at City Hall to hear from the City Clerk’s Office on the proposed process for the upcoming Tacoma City Charter review, which will include creating a charter review committee, appointing committee members, establishing a timeline for reviewing the charter, identifying staffing needs, creating a plan for community outreach, and reviewing the 2004 charter review process.

Councilmembers will not take public comment during the study session, which will be held on Tues., Aug. 20 at 12 p.m. in Room 16 of Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St. Audio from the meeting will be broadcast live on TV Tacoma and online at tvtacoma.com.
