At the July 26 study session, Tacoma City Council is scheduled to discuss the public comments and written testimony gathered from the public hearing last Tuesday regarding the Planning Commission’s recommended sign code amendments to prohibit digital billboards. Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16. Similarly, City Council is scheduled on July 26 to hear the first reading of an ordinance that would amend the municipal code related to zoning, to prohibit digital billboards, modify certain definitions and amend other provisions relating to static billboards.
