Broadway Center for the Performing Arts and Exit133, a local blog covering city issues, announced they will host a Town Hall forum for this year’s candidates running for the At-Large Position 8 seat on Tacoma City Council. The event will occur Thurs., June 21, at 7pm at Theatre on the Square, 905 Broadway, and will include candidates Marty Campbell, David Curry, Jonathan Phillips, and Marilyn Strickland.

“Tacoma residents have a lot to think about these days, so we decided it’s time for a little face time,” said Tacoma blogger Derek Young, in a messege posted Exit133.com. “[It’s t]ime to take the mounting dialogue in our comments and on-line forums into a real-world discussion. We’re here to help the candidates make their positions known and let you decide.”
