Tacoma Art Museum celebrate's one-year anniversary of new building

Tacoma Art Museum invites the community to a Spring Festival to celebrate the museum’s one year anniversary in its stunning new building Saturday, May 1 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Spring Festival will include an impressive array of performances and activities, a reflection of our diverse community and the varied art exhibitions the museum has hosted over the past year. The festival begins with a reception for members from 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m., and then opens to the general public.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see the Chief Leschi High School Dancers, Native American Veteran Drummers, the Cambodian Roosevelt Dance Group, the African Drum and Dance Youth Ensemble, the Slieveloughane Irish Dance Company, and much more.

In addition to the performances, visitors can experience the art in the galleries, explore hands on activities with Northwest Trek, and create their own masterpieces on the top-floor Education Wing.
