What do you think about the proposed Steele Street extension near Costco?
The City of Tacoma Public Works Department will host a neighborhood open house at the Trinity Church, 4041 Tacoma Mall Blvd., from 4:30 to 7 p.m., this Thursday, March 7.
The event will gather public input about the proposed project in the Lincoln Heights area.
The extension would impact the Metropolitan Park District’s right-of-way.
Public Works staffers will provide information about the project, answer questions and collect citizens’ ideas for mitigating the impact to the existing park.
