SST Conference 2003 focuses on mobility, convergence

Privacy, security, digital rights management and other issues are critical to the technology industry.

The annual South Sound Technology (SST) Conference serves as a forum to further continuous growth of technology in the South Sound region.

This year’s event – set for 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, May 28, at the Tacoma Sheraton – will provide information about global technology issues.

Keynote speaker Howard Rheingold, an internationally syndicated columnist and best-selling author of “Virtual Reality and the Virtual Community” will explore business, government and technology with industry leaders and examine emerging technologies surrounding mobility, convergence and landscape.

Congressmen Adam Smith and Norm Dicks will serve as honorary co-chairs of SST 2003.
