The University of Washington Tacoma will host the South Sound College Fair this weekend from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants can meet with representatives from 22 colleges and universities around the Sound and learn about admissions, applications, financial aid, degrees, continuing education and more. Admission is free. High school students, adults planning to return to school and anyone who wants to know how to prepare for college are encouraged to attend.
“Choosing a college and getting into the right program for you can be an intimidating process,” said Fiona Johnson, UW Tacoma’s director of recruitment. “The College Fair is a great place for anyone considering attending college to learn about all educational opportunities and get information about preparing for college, financial aid and admission requirements all in one place.”
