Series of public meetings on Salishan project this week

In 200, the Tacoma Housing Authority (THA) received a $35 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to completely redevelop the Salishan public housing community, 1724 East 44th St.

Each day the workshops will be open for “drop-ins” visits by the public. A schedule for the whole week will be available at the first meeting.

At the end of each day, the architectural team will present the day’s work and be available to answer questions and take input from the residents and interested stakeholders.
