Seats still available in UWT summer classes

There’s still time to enroll in summer classes at UW Tacoma.

Over 100 courses will be offered during two summer terms, which start June 20. Summer Quarter classes are open to both current UWT students and non-degree-seeking, “summer-only” students. Summer classes offer a great way to earn extra college credits, catch up on your studies or just learn something new.

Courses available include finance, marketing, computing, health and health care, history, politics, literature, nursing, social welfare, child development, education and more. Because UWT is an upper-division campus, the university suggests summer-only students have some college-level academic experience before enrolling. Admission as a summer-only student does not result in full admission to the University.

People who are not currently UWT students must apply for summer-only status to enroll. Current students may register for summer classes just as they would any other quarter. Interested students are encouraged to apply by June 9.
