He was the general manager of marketing for all the lighting products at General Electric, then headed up the company’s corporate marketing and sales consulting group in Fairfield, CT.La Fond won two Clio awards for his product marketing work with General Electric.He was the president and CEO of PPG Architectural Coatings, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Corimon, and president and CEO of Parker Paint.La Fond said his move to Onfree.com, after five years with Parker Paint, wasn’t a difficult one. They’re going to be successful, he said, It was not a hard decision. The talent of the founders and what they’ve done with it since they started is really amazing. I feel very good that they want me to participate. I think the most important thing about Onfree.com is the vision. My role is to bring that vision to a reality.Onfree.com also has a new CFO onboard, Keith Williams, who was recruited from a crisis in management firm in Texas.Williams said Onfree.com just received commitments from new investors for $500,000 for further expansion.Cash flow is not a problem with this company at all, Williams said.
