A resolution on the Dec. 13 agenda would endorse the formation of a private Downtown Tacoma Parking Committee. The 12-member committee would represent the Downtown Parking Stakeholder Group in making recommendations to the City Council on parking management matters and addressing the needs of property owners, merchants, employees, residents and visitors within downtown Tacoma. The advice and recommendations from the committee would be instrumental in formulating and implementing a City parking policy.
