A resolution that would authorize the execution of a Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Tacoma Firefighters Union, Local 31 is scheduled for City Council to consider on Sept. 11. The resolution would provide approximately 405 budgeted, full-time commissioned employees a wage increase for 2.1 percent retroactive to Jan. 1, 2006; a wage increase of 4.1 percent retroactive to Jan. 1, 2007; and a wage increase of 3 percent effective Jan. 1, 2008 through Dec. 31, 2008.
