Pierce County golfers now have the opportunity to share the Chambers Bay golf course (pictured top) with friends and family. Chambers Bay has proclaimed May as Pierce County Resident Appreciation Month. Residents can invite up to three guests residing outside Pierce County to join them Sunday through Thursday and pay the Pierce County rate. For reservations and more information, call (253) 460-4653. Residents must present valid identification to receive the lower rate.
Resident fees for May through September are $95 Monday through Thursday and $115 Friday through Sunday. Players from outside the county and not playing with a Pierce County resident would normally pay $155 and $170, respectively.
