City Councilmembers are scheduled Sept. 25 to consider designating two properties as historic landmarks and placing the properties on the Tacoma Register of Historic Places. The Landmarks Preservation Committee is recommending the Lord-Heuston residence at 2902 N. Cedar St. and the Osgood-Anderson residence at 407 N. “E” St. for consideration. Designated historic properties reflect outstanding examples of the City’s cultural, artistic, social, architectural, and historic heritage, and the designation fosters civic pride in the beauty and accomplishments of the past.
