The historic sailing ship Adventuress will be in Tacoma April 14-22, May 3-11 and June 7-15. The 101-foot, 89-year-old wooden schooner visits Tacoma annually with its program of on-board environmental education for people of all ages.
On Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 6 p.m., at the Wheelock Library in the Proctor district, local volunteers and Sound Experience staff will present a slide show about the ship’s program and its sponsor, Sound Experience.
Refreshments will be served, and the event is free and open to the public.
