Port promotion names new Terminal Planning Manager

The Port of Tacoma has promoted Brian Mannelly to Manager of Terminal Planning, a position in which he works with Port Environmental and Engineering staff to design future Port development options. He also coordinates with governmental and regulatory authorities outside the Port. Mannelly joined the Port in 2005 as a Planning Specialist. He was previously employed in private engineering consulting by Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. (VHB) of Boston. A LEED Accredited Professional through the U.S. Green Building Council, Mannelly graduated from Arizona State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning. He earned a Master of Planning from the University of Virginia in 1998.
