“The Pacific Northwest Christmas Tree Association named The Wreath Works, owned by Phil and Fran Hunter of Port Orchard as winners of the undecorated and decorated wreath category in the associations tree contest.Contest winners are eligible to compete in future competition to be a finalist in their state and to compete with growers from other states at a biennial national convention for the honor of supplying a future Christmas tree to the White House. A Fraser fir from Snowshoe Evergreen, Inc. received the grand champion trophy at the associations annual Tree Fair. Snowshoe Evergreen is owned and operated by Ken and JoAnn Scholz.”
