Documenting a year of record capital investments and record cargo volumes, the Port of Tacoma has published its 2003 Annual Report.
Titled “Investments in Motion,” the 2003 Annual Report focuses on the port’s Capital Improvement Plan and development projects. These include the Marshall Avenue Auto Facility, TOTE (Totem Ocean Trailer Express) Terminal Expansion, Blair Terminal development and construction of the new Evergreen Terminal, which when complete, will be the largest West Coast container terminal north of Los Angeles.
The 2003 Annual Report also examines regional truck and rail transportation initiatives, the impact of international trade on the Tacoma-Pierce County economy, and the port’s ongoing environmental projects.
