Members of the City Council are scheduled Nov. 18 to receive an overview of the proposed amendments to the Comprehensive Plan & Land Use Regulatory Code from City staff. The proposed amendments will modify nine elements of the Comprehensive Plan, including significant changes to the downtown, recreation and open space elements. The amendments also revise four sections of the Land Use Regulatory Code and will change the zoning classifications for certain properties for consistency with proposed Plan and Code amendments.

The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16.
