Proclamations
Proposal No. R2003-117, proclaiming Sept. 11, 2003, to be 9-11: A day of reflection in Pierce County, and encouraging the participation of all citizens and the cities and towns of Pierce County.

Ordinances
Proposal No. 2003-52, adopting a new Section 8.08.075 of the Pierce County Code (PCC), “Violation – Penalty,” and amending PCC 17C.80.025, “Section 203 Amended – Violations” for the purpose of making certain violations of Chapter 8.08 PCC, “Public Nuisances,” and Chapter 17C.80 PCC, “Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings,” misdemeanors.

The Council may consider the following substitute:
Proposal No. 2003-52s, amending PCC 17C.80.025, “Section 203 Amended – Violations” for the purpose of making certain violations of Chapter 17C.80 PCC, “Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings,” misdemeanors.

Proposal No. 2003-81, amending Section 14.20.040 of the Pierce County Code, “Facilities Use Fees,” by amending park facilities fees schedules, adding new fees for parks and recreation activities and facilities; and establishing an effective date for the new fees.

Proposal No. 2003-83, ratifying the collective bargaining agreement reached with Pierce County Juvenile Court Guild; and amending the Pierce County Salary Classification Plan.

Proposal No. 2003-86, amending Ordinance No. 2003-43 to correct parcel number one of five properties approved for timberland classification under current use assessment. (Application No. OST17-02, Wayne E. Arnold and Bonnie Jo Christner – Tanwax area)

Proposal No. 2003-87, amending Ordinance No. 2003-41S to correct the legal description of property approved for open space classification under current use assessment. (Application OS12-02, Scott Rammell – Buckley area)

Proposal No. 2003-88, amending Ordinance NO. 2003-59 to correct the parcel number, street address and legal description of two of five properties approved for timberland classification under current use assessment. (Application OST40-02 and OST42-02, Manke Lumber Company, Inc. – Key Peninsula area)
