Action on Ordinances
Proposal No. 2003-98, approving an amendment to a land lease agreement for real property at the Pierce County Airport – Thun Field with Hangar, Inc.; and authorizing the County Executive to execute said amendment to lease agreement.

Proposal No. 2003-99, adopting the Chambers Creek Properties Standards and Guidelines, April 2003; establishing standards and guidelines by which development of the Chambers Creek properties shall be subject in accordance with Section 6 of the Chambers Creek Properties Joint Procedural Agreement.

Proposal No. 2003-100, adopting year 2003 amendments to the capital facilities element of the Pierce County Comprehensive Plan; amending Title 19E of the Pierce County Code, Capital Facilities – Six Year Financing Plan; amending Chapter 19A.100 of the Pierce County Code, Capital Facilities Element; setting forth an effective date; and adopting findings of fact.

Proposal No. 2003-101, responding to the September 4, 2003, final decision order of the Central Puget Sound Growth Management Hearings Board regarding Case No. 02-3-0010; amending Chapter 19B.40 of the Pierce County Code, Parkland-Spanaway-Midland Communities Plan; amending Chapter 18A.25 Zone Classifications and Use Tables, to modify the Zoning Atlas; and adopting findings of fact.

Proposal No. 2003-102, ratifying the collective bargaining agreement reached with International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, District Lodge 160 on behalf of Automotive Machinists Local No. 297; and amending the Pierce County Salary Classification Plan.
Proposal No. 2003-103, adopting the 2003 amendments to the Pierce County Comprehensive Plan, including Pierce County’s periodic update to the Comprehensive Plan as required by Revised Code of Washington 36.70A.130; amending Title 19, Title 19A and Title 19D of the Pierce County code, Pierce County Comprehensive Plan; setting forth an effective date; and adopting findings of fact.

A message from the Executive transmitting the following Ordinances, which were approved and signed on September 23, 2003:

Ordinance No. 2001-22s2, creating a new Chapter 2.46 of the Pierce County code, “Pierce County Airport/Thun Field Advisory Commission.”
Ordinance No. 2003-44s2, adopting a new Chapter 2.89 of the Pierce County Code, “Tacoma Narrows Airport Advisory Commission”; and amending Chapter 2.58 of the Pierce County Code, “Gig Harbor Peninsula Advisory Commission” to transfer its review responsibilities regarding the Tacoma Narrows Airport to the Tacoma Narrows Advisory Commission.
Ordinance No. 2003-52s, amending Pierce County Code 17C.80.025, “Section 203 Amended – Violations,” for the purpose of making certain violations of Chapter 17C.80 Pierce County Code, “Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings,” misdemeanors.
