The appointment of Sheri Badger as Emergency Management PIO was announced today by Director Steve Bailey. Badger joined the department recently after having served as public information and education coordinator for the Human Services Department. She replaces Jody Woodcock, who has been the “face and voice” of Pierce County Emergency Management since 1999. Woodcock now manages the department’s mitigation, planning, exercises and training and public education programs.
