Pierce County Fair begins Aug. 7

Come enjoy the Pierce County Fair Aug. 7-Aug. 10. This year’s theme is “Our Fair’s Fun 4 U.” More than 25,000 people are expected to attend as the fair celebrates its 56th year at Frontier Park in Graham (21718 Meridian Ave. E).

The fairgrounds will be open Thursday though Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students (ages 6 through 17) and seniors (ages 62 and above). Children under age 6 are free. Parking is $2 per day in the fair parking lot within the grounds. Family Day is Thursday, Aug. 7 where youth are free with a paid adult admission.

The Pierce County Fair, a yearly celebration of rural life, agriculture and family values, is situated amongst the firs and green grass of Frontier Park and offers exhibits and entertainment that are high on economy and low on glitz. Once inside the fairgrounds, most attractions are free of charge and visitors will pull out their purses and wallets only for food and beverages. Fairgoers can sit back and enjoy a wide selection of tasty fair foods while viewing some of our many entertainment acts and attractions.

Some of the acts include hypnotist Jerry Harris, International Championship Wrestling, Joel Brantley’s Family Entertainment, Nashville recording artist Jonathan Harris, karate demonstrations, and the Let’s Pretend Circus. Other attractions include 4-H animal exhibitors, open class floral, photography, and home economics shows, and a game zone for kids.

The Pierce County Fair is planned, organized and operated by an all volunteer group of community members. For more information, visit:
