The Pierce County Bike Map (4th edition) has arrived from the printer and is available in the County-City Building first-floor lobby, at the Annex Public Works Counter and at the Environmental Services Building first-floor lobby. Copies are being routed to employees who previously made requests. The map is free.
More than 30 locations are listed at http://www.piercecountywa.org/bikemap where citizens can obtain the map. The online version will be available in coming weeks.
In addition to showing bike routes, the publication includes sections on bicycling laws, helmet purchase locations, types of bikeways and bicycling safety tips.
