Pierce County is seeking individuals who have a demonstrated interest and familiarity with arts and culture through professional practice, training or volunteer work to serve on the Pierce County Arts Commission. The commission is an advisory body composed of up to 13 volunteers who advise the County Council and Executive on arts-related issues, funding programs and public art projects. Commission meetings are held quarterly, and members serve three-year terms. Applicants must be residents of Pierce County, and certain positions are restricted by County Council district.
