Pet Adoptathon set for next month

The Humane Society For Tacoma & Pierce County in partnership with the Puget Sound Pet Pavillion & Invisible Fence Northwest, will join other shelters nationwide on Saturday, May 4, for Adoptathon 2002.

The event begins at 9 a.m. to allow adopters to choose from up to 250 animals, and will take place at the William Gazecki Animal Shelter, 2608 Center St., Tacoma.

Prices for a kitten/cat is $78 for one, $119 for two. Dog adoptions are $91.

All adoptions include a wellness exam, spay or neuter, microchip, initial vaccination and worming, and – for cats – feline leukemia test, collar and cat carrier.

Free pet toys and pet related gifts are provided with every adoption.
