The last person has passed through the turnstiles, and the gates of the 2003 Puyallup Fair have closed.

In total, 1,162,593 people attended the 17-day Puyallup Fair, which ran from Sept. 5 to Sept. 21.

This is the 20th highest attendance since the fair started in 1900 – a less than 2 percent decline from the number of people who visited the fair last year.
