NOTICE United Parcel Service, Inc. (4455 Seventh Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98108) is seeking new permit coverage under the Washington Department of Ecology's NPDES General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Industrial Activities at the United Parcel Service, Inc. located at 4123 142nd Ave E, Suite 200 in Sumner. Stormwater drains from the building roof and parking lot (9.8 acres) of the parcel delivery operations to the White River via Outfall 1, the existing industrial park storm drainage system, and via Outfall 2, the Sumner municipal stormwater system. Industrial activities include material storage/handling and parcel loading/unloading. Activities occur inside/under cover, except vehicular traffic and mobile fueling. UPS operations started in November 2015; the industrial park is covered by a Construction General Stormwater Permit.
