The Contracting Agency will automatically add this sales tax to each payment to the Contractor. For this reason, the Contractor shall not include the retail sales tax in the unit Bid Item prices, or in any other contract amount subject to Rule 170 with the following exception: The Contracting Agency will not add in sales tax for a payment the Contractor or a subcontractor makes on the purchase or rental of tools, machinery, equipment, or consumable supplies not integrated into the project. Description of Work: This contract provides for the demolition and replacement of roofs, hangar bay doors, removal of mezzanine infrastructures where found within the hangar bays, and installation of new electrical facilities, hangar bay doors, storm drainage improvements of five (5) existing hangars at Pierce County's (PLU) Thun Field Airport and other work in accordance with and as described in the Plans and Specifications.
