Northwest Trek seeks advisory council members

Northwest Trek Wildlife Park is seeking well-rounded Pierce County residents with varied professional backgrounds to serve on its Citizen Advisory Council. Responsibilities include attending monthly meetings, advising staff and Metro Parks Tacoma Board of Commissioners on park operations and goals and assisting with fund-raising.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong belief in Trek’s mission of conservation, education and research; innovative ideas and established professional skills; and the desire to be part of a truly unique treasure of the Northwest. People from all cultures and races, especially women, are encouraged to apply.
