Night lane closures on Narrows Bridge

Washington State Department of Transportation crews will install pavement markings on both State Route 16 Tacoma Narrows Bridges during overnight hours on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 10-11. Drivers can expect to encounter single, double and triple-lane closures across both bridges.

Starting Monday, Oct. 10, 7 p.m., crews will close up to two lanes of the eastbound SR 16 Tacoma Narrows Bridge until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11.

On Tuesday, Oct. 11, crews will close up to three lanes on the eastbound SR 16 Tacoma Narrows Bridge beginning at 7 p.m. At 8 p.m., up to three lanes on the westbound SR 16 Tacoma Narrows Bridge will close. All lanes in both directions will reopen by 5 a.m. Wednesday.
