Sure, Christmas is still a week away, but its not too early to make plans to celebrate the new year.
Celebrate the arts and the new year at the 10th annual First Night Tacoma-Pierce County, from 5:30 p.m. to midnight Dec. 31.
The event will feature the works of more than 300 performing and visual artists from Antique Row to the Sheraton Tacoma Hotel.
Admission buttons cost $10 in advance at Pierce County Safeway stores, Columbia Bank branches, select Puget Sound area GNC stores, Broadway Center for the Performing Arts and LeRoy Jewelers. The night of the event, tickets will cost $12.
Party attendees can ride to First Night for free beginning at 5 p.m. by parking at the Tacoma Dome and boarding a Pierce Transit bus.
