Dr. Jacquelyn Morhaime will join Pierce County as associate medical examiner Tues., Sept. 4, returning to Western Washington after studying and working in New York City for the past decade. She fills the position vacated when Dr. Roberto Ramoso retired July 21. Morhaime recently completed her forensic pathology training in the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. She graduated from the University of Washington in 1996 and from Cornell University Medical College in 2000. She remained at New York Hospital/Cornell University Medical College for five years of combined anatomic and clinical pathology residency.
