Murray Morgan Bridge re-cabling project focus of Tacoma City Council study session

Members of the City Council are scheduled Dec.16 to receive an update from both Public Works and Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) staff regarding the Murray Morgan Bridge re-cabling project. The bridge was closed to vehicular traffic in October 2007 due to the disrepair of the cables that will cost approximately $3 million dollars to be repaired.

The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16.
