City Council members are scheduled during the July 24 study session to receive an overview of the Citys revenues and expenditures for the 2007-2008 biennium-to-date through June from the Interim Budget Officer Amy Palmer. The overview will include a look at the national and local economy and the process that will be followed this year to integrate the Six-Year Transportation Program update with the Capital Facilities Program update as well as the Councils 2007-2008 budget priorities. The Council is also scheduled July 24 to receive the Citys copies of the Salishan design awards and to hear an update from the executive director of the Tacoma Housing Authority on recent efforts to find alternative financing for the Salishan project.
The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, Room 16.
