Officers found a methamphetamine lab in a vehicle pulled over during last Saturdays DUI and traffic safety emphasis patrol.
Nineteen motorists were arrested for DUI, including one for driving under the influence of marijuana, during the patrol that targeted the Parkland, Spanaway and Roy areas. Forty-six others were cited for various traffic offenses, including nine for not wearing seatbelts.
Liquor control agents cited three stores for selling to an underage operative.
The monthly patrols are coordinated by the Tacoma/Pierce County DUI Task Force and supported by the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.
