Citizens can meet the two final Tacoma Police Chief candidates in person, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Thursday, Dec. 13. The two finalists will introduce themselves, take questions and make their case for why they are most qualified during a forum in the city council chambers, first floor of the Tacoma Municipal Building, at 747 Market St.
The two candidates are David Brame, assistant chief, Tacoma Police Department and Patrick Stephens, deputy chief, Cleveland Police Department.
Tacoma’s new top cop will be announced by the end of the year, when Chief James Hairston will retire.
