On Tuesday, Aug. 2, National Night Out—America’s Night Out Against Crime—will offer local afternoon and evening celebrations all over Pierce County to help you get to know your neighbors.

Local celebrations will include block parties, barbecues, picnics, cook outs, safety fairs with representative from police and fire departments, and other events. Last year, more than 7,500 people attended 116 registered celebrations in Tacoma, Lakewood, University Place and unincorporated Pierce County.
