“Local business, community and government leaders took to the streets of downtown Tacoma yesterday for the Salvation Armys second annual Celebrity Bellringing. Last years efforts raised nearly $12,000. The Salvation Army helped over 1,700 families during the last holiday season, according to Major Thomas Morrow, providing food baskets and toys for those in need.Above, Dan Putnam of Chalker Putnam Williams & Scott, rings with Pierce County Executive Doug Sutherland.
