Join Citizens for a Healthy Bay April 17 for an Earth Day work party at Middle Waterway. Help plant native dune grass, remove invasive species and clear this valuable estuarine habitat of debris. City of Tacoma’s urban forester will hand out free trees and TAGRO potting mix to the first 50 participants. Event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Morning snacks, drinks and lunch will be provided.
