INVITATION TO BID Herron Island Ferry Terminal Dolphin Replacement HMC Management, homeowners association of Herron Island, Case Inlet, Pierce County, Washington, is seeking bids for the removal of creosoted timber pile dolphins (four at mainland terminal, four at island terminal, comprising 90 piles in total) and replacement of them with eight steel tripod dolphins. Sealed bids will be received at the offices of PND Engineers, 1736 Fourth Avenue South, Suite A, Seattle, WA 98134 until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Bids will then be opened and publicly read aloud. Plans and specifications list for this project are available online through Builders Exchange of Washington, Inc. at http://www.bxwa.com and at the Herron Island website at www.herronisland.org . A mandatory prebid meeting will be held on site on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 9:30 a.m. on site. Interested parties must RSVP to the project engineer, John Olson, at jolson@pndengineers.com in order to attend. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present at the pre-bid meeting.
