Free leadership class to focus on local labor market

The next session of the Government Leadership Institute held at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 9, will focus on economic development concerns and how the City envisions and develops the local labor market, which kinds of jobs and industries for which kinds of workers, and how the City identifies and balances development priorities. The free session will be held at the Keystone Building in the Carwein Auditorium, 1900 Commerce St., on the University of Washington Tacoma campus. The Government Leadership Institute is a cooperative effort between the City of Tacoma’s Neighborhood Council Office and the University of Washington Tacoma’s Urban Studies Program.
