The next session of the Government Leadership Institute held at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 8 will focus on human capital development in Tacoma. John Tye with Goodwill Industries and Dorothy Jeffries Anderson, Director/CEO of the Tacoma Urban League, will lead the discussion which will focus on how local residents can develop the job readiness skills needed to access and compete for jobs associated with the City’s economic development visions. The free session will be held at the Keystone Building in the Carwein Auditorium, 1900 Commerce St., on the University of Washington Tacoma campus.
