Free KNKX Holiday Jam 2017

88.5 KNKX is excited to present our 2017 Holiday Jam concert and live broadcast at Edmonds Center for the Arts on December 4 from 7-8 p.m. The free event features music of the season performed by Soundsation, the vocal jazz group from Edmonds Community College under the direction of Kirk Marcy; the Edmonds-Woodway High School Jazz Big Band under the direction of Jake Bergevin; and special guest, Northwest jazz vocalist LaVon Hardison and her trio (Dr. David Deacon-Joyner on piano, Osama Afifi on bass, Jeff Busch on drums). LaVon will also perform a few tunes with the EWHS band. The Holiday Jam is KNKX’s special holiday gift to the community. This is the first year we’ve presented the Holiday Jam in Edmonds and we’re proud to partner with Edmonds Center for the Arts. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be broadcast live on-air and streamed live at knkx.org.

No tickets/reservations are required so arrive early as seating is not guaranteed and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring non-perishable food items for Northwest Harvest. Hope to see you there!
