Members of Tacoma City Council are scheduled Dec. 7 to hear the final reading of an ordinance that would adopt the 2011-2012 Biennial Budget. The 2011-2012 Biennial Budget for the City of Tacoma is required by City Charter and State of Washington laws. The city manager presented his budget to Council on Sept. 28 and held budget workshops throughout October, November and early December.
