Ethnic Fest seeking volunteers

Volunteers help make Ethnic Fest a premier celebration of cultures in the Pacific Northwest. More than 50 volunteers staff the annual event in Tacoma’s Wright Park, which will be held July 26-27.

Traditional ethnic foods, entertainment, arts and crafts, community information and hands-on art activities are enjoyed by tens of thousands each year. Behind the scenes, volunteers work to make the fun possible. Tasks range from setting up and breaking down the booths to providing information as needed.

People of all ages are welcome to apply for volunteer slots. Those under 16 must be accompanied by a parent. To apply or receive additional information, contact Victoria Woodards at vwoodar@co.pierce.wa.us or 253-798-7590.

Ethnic Fest is produced by Pierce County Council, Metro Parks Tacoma and the City of Tacoma.
