The former U.S. District courthouse located above the downtown Tacoma Post Office is currently the setting for a feature film to be released next year. The movie, a comedy entitled ‘The Whole Truth,’ is being produced by Seattle-based Heartbreakz Productions and directed by Seattle filmmaker Colleen Patrick. It stars Eric Roberts, Sean Patrick Flanery, and Elisabeth Rhom. According to the City of Tacoma, the production crew has secured permits to park permanently around the post office, located at 1102 A St., and along Court A through Oct. 22.

On Monday, a few passersby watched as trucks, trailers, and generators were set up outside, and gondolas equipped with lighting shone inside the building for interior courtroom scenes.
